To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My son is now 8 I know that my son had been disgarded with ADD and ADHD in the past. Before school he had a resource teacher for the first year. My son had a test done and the test resulted in that at the age 5 he was thinking like a 3 year old boy. Even at that time he knew where his aunt lived and where the grogery store was and even my work. At this time he was diagnosed with a Mild Intaletual Delay. He has an Educational Assistant with him at school at all times and now the teachers and Principls at his school is telling me that they would like to see my son being rediangnosed. They feel that my son has certain systoms of Audtism. I have not got in to see this specailist yet on waiting list for at least a year. But now I am worried about everything with him. In School he is a bright boy but yet finding it hard to fit into a group of his peers. In being bright he is a little advanced in reading and math, for example in Grade 2 in Canada they touch base with 2 and 5 times tables and he shouted out the question and answer to 6 x 6. He wants to know all of the featured attractions in geography and he knows all the dinosours, what they eat and names of each. If there is anybody out there that went though this same situation please advise and help me. I really don’t know what type of activities that I should get him into this summer. Comments
