My new life with a Bipolar spouse

My wife was diagnosed last week with bipolar disoder. She was attending a individual marriage counceling class we had started.The marriage counselor told her she thought she was bipolar, and she was right. The reason we had started the class was because for the prior 3 months she had a affair with co-worker, i had found out by accident when she had left her email page up. I think she might have been in a manic phase i guess. Anyway life is very different now to say the least. She said she was sorry and really couldn’t really explain or understand why she had the affair?
