To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My Mother’s stomach cancer… My 71-year old mom was diagnosed with cancer in the upper region of her stomach. She underwent complete removal of stomach and surrounding lymph nodes. After surgery, the pain medicine side-effects were awful. My mom was seeing things that weren’t there and having delusional thoughts. After several days the doctor began my mom on liquids. She began to cough-up bile and began having other problems. Ultimately, my mom lived for 10-days and never left the hospital. She died from cardiac arrest and/or pneumonia. This is a horrible cancer that at best makes survival miserable. By the grace of god, my mom did not have to suffer an uncomfortable life, post surgery. After reading some of the other posts, I decided that god is merciful and did not want my mom to suffer any longer. Comments
