To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma My mother entered walking to the hospital and never walked back again. After back surgery complicated with infection which caused renal failure and other surgical interventions (3) she was diagnosed with “endometrial stromal sarcoma”. During the back surgeriess and procedures she had more than 100 MRI’s and Cat scans that didn’t detect the sarcoma or was overlooked. After bleeding and pain complaints the Sarcoma was detected. By that time it was in stage 4 with metastadis both in the lungs and in the bladder. She started Chemotherapy with Cisplatinum, and Adriamicina which made her life miserable. She was also put on Megace. She passed away 5 months after being diagnosed. September 2007
