To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Jose’s battle My son was diagnosed with AML in March of 2004 . He had a bone marrow transplant July 1,2004 . His 2 year old brother was a perfect match. He eventually contracted graft vs host in his lungs . He became very ill on Christmas Eve and had to be placed on a vent. I made the decision on December 29th to take him off because we knew he would never be any better and that is not the life for an 11 year old boy. I miss him so much. November 2007
