However, OCD or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder has made a big impact on my life, because I can’t walk in to a room with out counting steps, being afraid of touching door handles, touching anything. I have thought about wearing gloves everyday of my life so i wouldn’t touch anything with germs or bacteria, but i thought that I would look like a freak, like people would notice a weird little girl wearing gloves on the hottest days of august. I can’t close doors with out snapping before I close it. I have to pt my shoelaces a certain way, other wise my whole day I spend obsessing over it. I Feel like bubble girl because I’m allergic to many things and when i eat things I use a spoon have the time because i think that somehow I might hurt myself. I compete in step team competitions and no one occasion because my other strange compulse to meet perfection, I Messed up on one step, ONE STEP and I felt as if i failed my team. As if I let em all down. I Had an Anxiety attack because i thought my one mistake in that almost flawless routine cost us the first place cup. That one little mistake wasn’t even noticed my the judges and to my Suprise we won! After that day All of this “I Can’t” nonsense turned into “I couldn’t Before” With a little therapy and inspiration. Comments
