Delayed Post-traumatic stress

by: Lynda on Wed, Jun 27 2007

I have been suffering with this since mid-Feb. I am drug intolerant so all I can take are herbal remedies - valerian, passion flower, St. John’s Wort. Quebec has an over the counter remedy called Relaxen which helps greatly. It is the only province in Canada that sells this calming herbal remedy mix.

I went through 4 yrs ago a huge amount of stress and I suppose I was numb until mid-Feb when things began to play out in my memory banks and the whole range of things. Is there anything I can do other than herbal since I am drug intolerant. Cognitive therapy did not work in 1978 when I last had this after a series of tragedies.
