To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download PTSD Hello, I have huge problems with wanting to be in control of everything. What’s funny is that I am at the other end of the spectrum. The strange thing I am finding is that I was so blind to a such a drastic change to my well being. Also, I have trouble controlling my emotions. It seems the only emotion that I experience is anger. Oh, and I cant forget the anxiety I had no support from family or co-workers during or after the trauma. In fact, some in my unit blamed me for others getting into trouble for allowing me to go without water. I remember the leutenant calling down for water and the leutenant on the other end refused stating it was not in his orders to resupply us. I have tried a variety of ssri’s and other medications with little luck. Other problems that stem from my PTST are compulsions. I have a spending problem, a drinking problem, and over eat to fill the void that I am experiencing. This reminds me of the carnival game with the gulfers that pop out of the holes. You hit one and another one pops up. Meaning…as I try to tackle one problem another worsens. It amazes me that 5 days of my life can hinder 8 years of my existence. Anyways, you keep trying. The more I learn about PTSD the more aware I become. Good luck! I know I need it. Comments
