    In 1980 something i had to have knee surgery i had twisted and ripped my ligements into two peices and crushed my maniscuss so with surgery they removed my maniscuss and cut my ligements into two clean ends ,Iwas a father of three and had ni insurance and time to get the reconstructive surgery three weeks after the surgery me and a friend went to a bridge by my home to shark fish one night around midnight afer about one hour had passed i was half way bent over looking for something in my tackle box when i was struck by a four wheel drive truck doing 50 miles an hour by a drunk driver that had came up on the sidewalk and struck me in the back and knocked me right out of a pair of laced up tennis shoes and sent meflying over 40 feet down the road till i hit the ground ,Almost all my ribs were broken my scapula’s were shattered and other bones ,I layed in lee memorial hospital for almost a month doing breathing excersizes and other rehab stuff as soon as i was released i had to get back to work to care for my kids i was in the construction industry so by eating pain pills i was able to stand the discomfort and worked i was involved in several accidents and know after 20 years my discs have fused together in the bottom of my spine and i suffer in pain every day and it hurts to the point of tears i have become an insomniac due to the discomfort i have finally decided to see a pain management dr the last time iseen a dr.8 years ago they wanted to do surgery i said no and we moved to another state i can hardly work anymore i’monly 48 yrs old and cry when i thiink about how this has changed my life the pain the lack of sleep for all these years the self medicating the wondering if i will have the money to getpills to take the pain away or at least make it barible,it will be such a great relief to know that i have medicine from a dr. to relieve this pain and help me sleep so i can possibly bring some sort of quality back to my life [more..]
